use corn flour to clump the blood and stop the bleeding. Make sure it's not a blood feather becuase this will need to be pulled to stop the bleeding, again adding cour flour to spot. and take your bird to the vet ASAP please.

Corn flour packed on the spots stops bleeding. If that is not stopped quickly your budgie will die from lack of blood. It would not be the wings are cut back too short. the guy has cut back the hot blood feathers previously they are totally grown. at the same time as they get new feathers coming with the aid of they are called pin feathers. A nerve is going contained in the middle of the feather & pumps blood with the aid of this till that is reached that is finished boom. once reached finished boom, the nerve retracts itself. once you narrow back un below grown feather you also cut back the nerve, so it bleeds it is risky. To make the nerve retract itself (a proffessional) now and again pulls that feather out. once retracted the bleeding stops. PLEASE do no longer try this till you comprehend what you're doing as it is extremely painful for the chicken & if more effective than one feather is bleeding you would possibly want to not try this. The feathers being pulled out may also reason some damage.

If it broke a blood wing (a feather with blood veins in it), put cornstarch (best) or flour (okay) on it and apply pressure until it clots. If you don't stop the bleeding, the loss of blood and actually kill the bird. They're little and don't have a whole lotta blood ya know.

Was this a blood feather on the wing? (if you look at their wings underneath, some actually have blood running through them). If so, you need to extend your bird's wing, and pull that feather out (probably with needle-nose pliers so you get the whole feather). pulling the feather will stop the bleeding
