I would get married. I would not want to die knowing I had not loved and been loved.

I do not totally understand how some of you can be so ignorant. If you take out loans and you are an adult and you die your family is NOT responsible for your debt at least in America it's not. Maybe you should watch the news or research your information before you spout off and look like idiots. This wouldn't apply however if you are married and both your names are on the loans then your spouse would be liable to pay. The reason I know this is my parents own a ranch that is half a million dollars in debt so i researched and found if something happens to them my brother and I are NOT liable to pay for it. Now this isnt a good reason to just go out and blow money if you are dying, as it leaves the economy unstable and taxes go up. I mean the money has to come from somewhere right? You want our taxes to go to pay for other ppl's debts? Be my guest I choose not to.

Well I have heart disease and realy was given a life expectency of 20, (it has now become 30), but yeah I'm in college even though I know I could die any time. Way I see it is if I live longer least I'll have a good job, as a resault of college. And if I die I didn't just leave some guy widowed, with posibly kids.

If you meet the person of your dreams they would not care when your time was up they would enjoy every moment with you. "It's better to have loved..." you know the rest. College on the pther hand is a bit trickier. I would not go if I had to take out loans that no one would ever repay, leaving family members in debt when you die is not fair. College does give one a different perspective on life though. Pick love over education any day.

Absolutely.

I know of a man who was very sick and asthmatic as a child. His doctors told his parents that he probably would not live much past his teen years but advised them to move to the desert where there were less allergens to bother him.

He studied nutrition and he lived to be at least 95 years old if not 100 years + (Nobody knew for sure but many speculated he was over 100 when he died).

With proper nutrition and medical advances, a 20 year life expectation can be increased and you might regret not taking the chances when you could.

(I hope that this question does not apply directly to you but if it does, please do not give up hope. People frequently out live doctors expectations.)

All the best to you!

Neither...I would travel the world and try to live a lifetime in that 20 years. Going to college or being tied down in a marriage would just take too much time.

Pursue college so I'd be able to support myself, be independent and if the right person came along-marry for love and not support. Besides college is fun-lots of parties, socializing and the classes are challenging and interesting.

I would get married. I have been married for a little over a year and it was the best decision I have made this far in my life! There is nothing like waking up every morning next to your best friend!

20 yrs is too long for this question. I will pursue whatever it takes to become a teenage sensation like in sports or entertainment and kick the bucket by 20.

Neither!!! I'd just enjoy my time. I wasted many years on my college education, and am now living on total disability since my stroke. I've tried marriage 5 times. Every last one of them soon quit their jobs to sponge off of me, and I was expected to wait on them hand-and-foot, cook their meals, pick up after them, do their laundry, and work to pay their bills. If I were only given 20 years to live, I would have spent it on some 'MY TIME'.

I would definetly get married and have a child right away, it was an experience beyond words. Wouldn't change it for the world. Just watching those young faces discover life around them and how they get so excited when they do something for themselves for the first time. Priceless!
