You are cooking them too fast. Any sausages should be cooked slowly to ensure that they are thoroughly cooked all the way through. Your problem is that your sausages are expanding faster on the outside than on the inside, which where the slow cooking comes in, giving a fairly even temperature throughout the sausage.

Add some water to your pan. So they STEAM instead of BURST! SLOW cooking them works better. Turning the HEAT down also has a benefit!

put a fork in them a couple of times on each side before cooking and that helps them from bursting

Prick 'em with a fork to release the pressure. I thought that was common, sausage-cooking knowledge.

This could be because you are cooking them on too high a heat, cook them slowly,or the poor quality of the skins you use.

They need to be slow cooked. If you fry them in a pan, turn them every 30 seconds.
Best bet is cook them in the oven.
