Do you know where I can find clear covers (plastic or vinyl) to protect living room furniture? (The kind Marie has on "Everybody Loves Raymond") I've checked hundreds of websites and all I can find are flimsy shapeless things to protect furniture while moving.

You guys are so funny! A friend of mine has a major problem with a cat that is spraying her sofa. The cat is fixed, but just recently started this behavior. We haven't figured out what's going on with it, but in the meantime, we need to protect the furniture. The flimsy covers don't stay on when you sit on them, so they don't help.

I know you asked this 7 years ago, but if you are ever looking again, Sears on line shopping, you can find SureFit Quick Cover Furniture Savers, with slip-resistant backing, waterproof polyurethane barrier, microsuede front, polyester fill, machine washable, comes in 5 different colors.

Please don't use those. They are sooooo
tacky and so 1950ish. Get leather furniture if you are trying to avoid stains. Otherwise, just suck it up and clean it often. Those covers are really bad. And uncomfortable too.
Glad it isn't your style at risk here. Get the cat to the vet. Maybe it needs to be neutered. The cat off spray someone mentioned should help also. I'd get rid of the cat before the covers. Once they start, unless it is treated medically, it will probably continue. Good luck.

I don't think they even sell those anymore but your best best is to ask someone's mom ore grandmother because those are the places you are going to find them the most,I kid you not. And if that fails, try Walmart or Ikea. And if that fails, then you are probably going to have to get them custom-made.
