i usually find both of these available in 'save as' formats list- for example in corel photopaint or xnview programs

well it seems jp2 immage format is something microsoft is comming up with and is suppose to produce better quaily immages with a smaller size than that of the jpg immage format... (also read something about only starting to support this new format in 2008 and a possibility that it will be a windows only immage format)
