Hello, can anyone give me the name of a CHEAP hotel, motel, or apartment or house, to rent for 3 months in Sherman Oaks, San Fernando Valley. I have checked out so many places but they are SOOOOOOO expensive that it would eat up all my budget and more. I live in the UK and would like accommodation from late September to early January.
You help would be most appreciated.

I live in the Valley too... everything is really expensive. Especially if you want a nice place. I'd check out losangeles.craigslist.org and see if anyone is looking for a temporary roomate or a sublet. You can also post an ad there telling people what your looking for and they can respond to you.... plus posting there is free. Good luck!

Extended stay hotels are not too bad. Holiday Inn Glendale.

3 months? get a studio or 1 bedroom apart for 900+/month

What is your budget? Check Craig's list Los Angeles for those who need roommates. This should keep your cost down.
