I have this address in california, because i have an urgent
situation, i need to make a phone call rather than mailing,
is there any possible way to figure out their phone number from
their address?
and im in tokyo, so i can't go there and knock the door
sombody please help

You can call the operator and if you know the name and address of the person you are looking for they can give you the number if it is listed.Just explain this to the operator.

Try calling the local police department in California for help. Too bad you aren't going the other way -- Google will happily tell you who has a particular phone number, and also the address if it appears in the white pages listing.

You can call up the operator in California as tell them the problem. If that doesn't work, there's an inverse search for directories but that's time consuming and you need to pay. Try the operator in the city you need to call.

There used to be a thing called a criss-cross directory where you could look up an address and find it's number. Surely you could find something like that with Google.

well, you probably can't get the phone number from the address...you can get the area code, but that's about it.
