If you put a lot of thought into this question, you'd know that there's no way their wives would be mad. Maybe, initially, the reason for going into gynocology would be to look at woman's hoo-hah's....let's just say that is their reasoning. If it is....they will soon find that they were badly mistaken. Gynocology is not just a field to stare at women's beautiful Brazilian wax jobs on top of their perfect pink lips. Women go to the gynocologist when something is wroooong with them. This means that the gyno is spending all day looking in women's crotches who have yeast infections, bacterial infections, chlamydia, warts, you name it! Or if they're an obstetrician as well, then they go through the pregnancy.
Men who deal with the birth-life process on a daily basis usually actually have a lot more respect for the magic in creating a life than your average male. And you have to remember that the gyno is looking at all kinds of crotches....eighty year old ones and 200 pound ones....so I doubt it's for the sheer joy of it or they'd quit as soon as they started.

No, there are always a few perverts in any field, but the vast majority of ob/gyn's are in the profession because they enjoy helping women and delivering babies. I am sure they don't get turned on by looking at women's vagina's all day; it becomes pretty common place to them. Besides, a lot of the women are fat, and unattractive and some women smell pretty bad - especially if they have an infection. I imagine a lot of it is downright unpleasant!
No, their wives are not mad that they have that job. They are happy that their husbands are making a lot of money!
By the way: you don't think that women become gynecologists because they are lesbians and want to look at other women, do you?

As a genral rule, gynecologists are doctors and therefore should conduct themselves in a very detached and professional manner. That means looking at a female's vagina is nothing to them because it's their job and it's what they're trained to do.
However, if the gynecologist abuses his profession by disregarding doctors' ethics and drools over vaginas and clitorises, then he's a pervert who should be arrested, conviceted and have his license revoked.
If he has a wife, he probably won't tell her about his perversions.

I would like to think that most people who become doctors have higher ethics. Besides, looking at yeast infections and whatever other funky stuff women get doesn't sound too hot.

I think they all start out saying oh yeah, this rocks, how ever after awhile it would have to become more about the cause {health} otherwise you would grow board

I've pondered that same question. I don't know why they would enjoy "that" because they're all swollen or infected. That's not really appealing to me.
