Squint is not a medical diagnosis. Do you mean she has trouble seeing and squints to compensate for it? Glasses or contact lens will correct the problem and allow her to see without squinting.
Surgery depends on whether she is near sighted or far sighted. Since squint is not a diagnosis, I can not comment on that.
Sounds as if you want her to have surgery and she doesn't want to. Please consider glasses or contacts.

Squint or strabismus - meaning an eye turn. The surgery is a relatively safe surgery but it is not always 100% curable.
Have you tried vision therapy? I would suggest serious VT first and then surgery - or at least get several opinions to make sure surgery is the right option for her.

Try a fruit juice called g3. it consist of very high caratenoid. Made by 3types of fruits and 1chinese herbs. caratenoid is very crucial nutirent for eyes. check it out!
