is it really safe to go on planes nowadays?

I flew on a plane Friday and am obviously still alive. This is nothing more than a scare tactic.

Safety wise your fine but plan to spend a lot of time waiting now that they just changed the limits on what you can bring into the airport again.

No, because you can dead any day, time, or place.....just because thing are happening around airplanes does not stop death....
