The restriction is temporary. If passengers can carry nothing permanently the message to terrorists is that civilised society conceded defeat. That is more dangerous than terrorism itself. Terrorism must be fought bullet to bullet. No concessions and compromises.Pakistan is always ruled by military dictators who can not stop use of force. All countries must unitedly establish a free Pakistan .Then all of us can carry anything aboard.Otherwise we will be travelling naked soon.

It depends where you're flying from, where to and any stop-overs.

If you're flying from the US then you can't take liquids or gels of any kind.

If you're flying to, from or via the UK then the only things you can take are as listed below and thse should be in a transparent polythene bag...

Pocket-sized wallets/ purses, plus contents
Passports/ travel tickets
Prescription medicines, not in liquid form unless verified as authentic
Essential medical items, eg diabetic kit
Glasses & sunglasses, no cases
Contact lens holders, no solution
Baby food & milk for those with infants - bottle contents must be tasted by accompanying passenger
Essential sanitary items for infants
Female sanitary items, unboxed
Tissues, unboxed, or handkerchiefs
Keys, but no electric key fobs
