i've come to the conclusion that most dentists are money hungry @ssholes..seriously they seem like car salesmen or something...money, money, money...and so ignorant....(not the ones on here, i think it's great that you actually help people for free)....but does anyone else feel that way?

A Dentist also is a businessman. There are huge costs in running a dental office. Dental equipment, office lease, dental supplies and the staff to make sure things run smoothly.
Like the cost of health care, dental care is also rising. Many Dentists are adapting to discount programs that save their patients money on their dental care. Dentists are open to discount plans, because they do not have to bill the dental insurance company and wait several months to get paid.

Find a new dentist if this is how your dentist makes you feel. Like any business, there will be those who are "only in it for the money." Hey, I work for a living and I want to get paid, but I don't need to fund my retirement from any individual patient. I sure hope that nobody thinks of me this way.

yes, its hard to find a good dentist or professional these days. Money seems to be the driving force, not helping people. the only advice I can give is get refferals any time you can...

'cause they're human. furthermore, people are often afraid of dentists, or hate them, and that can make one an unpleasant person. other reasons: dentists often mocked by "real" doctors; i'm told they tell you to go for the dough, in dental school; are people who want to stick pointydrilly things in your mouth expected to be cool?

no i don't after all they are doctors who studied and worked hard for a cause but all th dental equipments are so expensive if they are getting all that money into there pockets whats the point on working
