So that your audience doesn't have to assume, it would be wise for you to state what operating system this is in regards to. Assuming this was Windows, there are "boot to linux" CD's that you can download free of charge. They're ISO's which means you'll have to tell your CD/DVD-burning software to treat it as such, Ex. Using Nero, choose Recorder from the top, then choose "Burn Image" from the dropdown.

Hi!

Don't reinstall Win! Simply download tomsrtbt (a Linux image file) and write it on a CD (the image is quite small) Follow the instructions on the screen. It works! I've used it many times now! I recommend that you only delete the pass rather than change it, since errors may occur!
Don't worry that after you restart your computer chkdsk (Checkdisk) will perform a scan, especially at the security descriptors! After scan is finished, restart your PC. The pass is now disabled!
