I have heard of this before. It is an actual phobia. Type in phobias fear of gnomes on your yahoo search. One of the first choices should be irrational fears, it's a website for people who are afraid of uncommon things. You are not weird. You'll see. Good luck from frogspeaceflower.

Not afraid of them, a friend of a friend- a pizza guy. If you tipped him badly, he would write down your address and then come take something out of your lawn and decorate his living room with it. I think he had almost a 20 lawn gnomes scattered over the house, flamingos, hoses, guys with lanterns, flowers in pots, etc. I thought it was funny and thought I should share.
