One: they are not emotionally mature enough to handle a sexual relationship
Two: they are not physically mature enough to risk pregnancy or some of the other aspects of a sexual relationship
Three: it's illegal, and since they're too young to be legally responsible for themselves and/or any children they might have, the consequences will be suffered by their parents instead.

Well, for starters, they probably couldn't ... suppose they could, no matter how old you are, you still risk pregnancy, STDs, and how would you like it being a twelve-year-old with a kid?
And do sexually awakened twelve-year-olds think about using birth control? The reason there's an 18+ thing on sex is because any younger and something bad will happen.

a 12 year old haven't even experienced middle school all the way.. there is alot wrong wit that. A 12 year old mind is way different.. there still in that Innocent stage and really don't know much.. a 12 year can't take care a baby or a there own bodies.. i hope Ur not the 12 year old or Ur not the one having sex wit them

actually it is illegal. Statutory rape doesn't matter if the person is consensual or not. Age doesn't matter either.
But other than the law. 12 year olds are ready for the responsibilities that come with sex. At 12 love should be able trust,friendship, and closeness. Dances, movies, and kissing. Its about having someone that cares about you and is there for you during the trials of puberty,school and teen life.

Because they are not of an age to marry or have sex. They are still children.
The brains of young adults are still not mature at age 23 according to recent studies, so why would you imagine they have any clue at 12?
Please, try to read something on the topic of what happens to someone who has sex at a young age.It can be devastating and life-changing. Read.

You're too young both mentally and physically to do such a thing, and in doing so you lose the innocence that comes with childhood. Even worse if you end up knocking the girl up as you'd loose the fun of being a carefree teenager.

umm their bodies arent fully developed and why would a 12 year old have sex? what if they get pregnent? basically 12 years old isnt a age to be gettin ur freak on. wait until ur 18. then go get freaky freaky
