Because any given group of people (be it color, race, creed, level of intelligence or beauty, size, etc.) has to have someone to hate. And when you hate someone enough, you have to be mean to them. It's totally natural for humans to hate and to act on that hate. That's why we will NEVER have a perfect world, no matter how cool Star Trek is.

I guess you've just had a bad experience but im full mexican raised in California now living in Germany and my husband is american. When im in Cali, its hard to get treated w/ respect but when i was in Ky i was treated as a person now in germany im treated as the enemy. Who figures??

LatinAmerica has the most beatifull people of the world.
In mexico almost nobody has racism against other races.

because your friend is american doesnt make her pretty,. Every woman is gorgeous, because they are a woman. It doesnt matter what you are. Wonderful that your friend is pretty, that doesnt mean you arent.
