Because Bars are out to do one thing that is to make money they do not care if someone gets in the car after drinking I do not care how many beers and kills innocent people. They do not care if it is a doctor who had any amount of alcohol then goes to the operating room and does surgery and messes someones life up forever That happened to my preacher one time. And people get real how many out there really get someone to drive them to the bars just to get a few drinks of alcohol especially if they go every day after work or every weekend? And not only if drinking & driving
is against the law then why do these bottle shop keep opening
up everywhere.Where I live they have opened up the 5or 6th
one within 15 minutes of each other that is plain STUPID!!!!!But
yet it is not legal to drink and drive.........Good Question.

Because a person can consume alcohol and still drive as long as their blood-alcohol level is below the legal limit. The "legal limit" for driving varies from place to place but is usually around .08 or 2 drinks. It is legal in most places to have 2 alcoholic drinks and drive a car. Designated drivers also need a place to park and not everyone (although most do) goes to a bar to drink.

who said drinking and driving is not allowed? it is allowed. most states just have tolerances as to how much you can drink before you drive. if you are at a bar for 3 hrs and have 2 beers you should be below the legal limit.

Because..technically you can drink and drive. In most states, if you drink an average of one beer or mixed drink per hour, you'll remain under the legal limit and can legally drive. That's not to say if you get in an accident or something you won't be in for a nightmare. In most states..under 18 is zero tolerance. No amount of alcohol is allowed in your system.

I know you think this question was really clever, but let me shoot you down and tell you it absolutely was not. You remind me of that kid in the back of the classroom who would always mumble things to himself in hopes of someone overhearing and laughing- but no one ever did. Laugh that is, not overhear.

So, now, let me explain to you: Most people know that there is a legal limit to how much alcohol you can have in your bloodstream while operating a motor vehicle. Sometimes, believe it or not, people go to a bar, and DON'T come out smashed! I know, it's unbelievable, right?! So, in that event, people can get BACK IN THEIR CARS that were parked in the convenient PARKING LOT, and drive home!

Like, oh my God, who'd of thunk that people could drink, and then stop, BEFORE they get drunk?! That's CRAZY!

Imbecile.

Everyone in here should be taking milk thistle. Build up to significant amount. Take it constantly/regularly for up to many years. You will reduce the pressure you are putting on your liver significantly....

oh yeah... don't drink and drive.
