you might try a few paths
!. cognative behaviour therapy
the book ten days to self esteem by burns is simple but it is a workbook meaning you have to do the exercises
also " what happy people know " is straight forward and worth reading
"Taming your gremlin" is a fun book
2 meditation
mindfulness meditation is probably taught near you it is cheap and works
Ishaya is very easy and works but they charge for it
3 sleep deprivation can cause anxiety
4 hunger causes anxiety so breakfast is important
5 Learn some skills in handling people
any of the dale carnagie books are good
6 is this a pattern with you ? ie. stress in other areas of your life or at other jobs? if this is the only place you get stressed then change jobs
There is no reason you cannot live in peace and happiness it is the natural state of humans.
thinking gets in the way
hope this helps

determine what causes the stress, if possible, and stop it. people always interrupting your work? tell them you're on a tight schedule and cannot help them, just now. i read that you can ease that sort of thing by having, "office hours", of a sort, where you can let people know you're available for whatever at certain specific times of day, and not others. without knowing the cause, it's hard to give advice.

If I'm at work I go out and have a cigarette. After work I go to the bar. May not be the most healthy answer but sitting around all day with pent up anguish isn't mentally or physically healthy either.

Well, don't do this at work.. but screaming at a wall usually works for me. It sounds really stupid but it seriously is relieving.
