My husband was only 35 and has just passed away on July 27th, 2006. I am looking for a camp that my son and I could attend for grief counseling together. Our son is 12. and we need to get thru this somehow. Thank you for your answers and help. May God bless you. I was hoping to get a camp that is free or has a finacial aid set up.

where do I start.....your heart is hurting I know...my husband passed away 7 years ago he was 37...I want to tell you from my own experience....those groups...they are not for everyone..go talk to someone one on one...not in a group...and your son he needs to go too...my youngest was 15 when his dad died...see if the town you live in offers any counseling...my town offered it...and it helps alot just to talk with someone about your situation, someone that does not know you. time is the only real thing that will help you........I can promise you it does get a little easier with time.....you will never forget...I wish you peace

I'm praying for you & Kev Jr. God has his reasons. I'd find a Christian Camp to go to. The important thing for the both of you to be strong for each other.
