Fruit has minimal amounts of fat in it. Any fat in fruits is monounsaturated and heart healthy. Fruits are excellent sources of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, antioxidants and fiber.
Fruit does have calories and the sugars can adversely affect insulin levels which can of course lead to weight gain.
Also, mango is not fattening like avocado is. One of the other people said mango was fattening!

no, in fact raw whole fruits are very good for you. aside from the sugars, albeit natural sugars. the fiber in the fruit is good for you too.
stay away from dried fruits and fruit juices. that's just lots of calories and not a lot of space.

nope.they're not fattening.but a point to note though, they raise ur insulin level due to fructose and so u will tend to get hungry if you eat them.fruits u shld avoid are the seasonal fruits like mango,papya...but fruits like apple, pears are not that bad,as in they won't make you feel hungry so fast as compared to those.

Some are fattening, like mangoes and avocados. Citrus fruits like oranges and lemons are okay.
