Personally, I do not follow a 'recipe' ... I go from pallet and tastes.

I have a decent sized crock pot. I buy a slab of roast beef that would fit properly in my crock pot.

I put baby red potatoes in with it.
I put small baby carrots
I put a fresh small onion
I put a pinch of rosemary, basil, thyme, and oregano.
Sprinkle some Salt and Pepper, or whatever seasonings you wish.
I put about a 1/4 cup of minced garlic
I put about 4 tbsp. of Worscheshire Sauce.
I put a little white vinegar in with it.
and about a cup of water.

Put it all in the crock pot, and set it to low/med or medium. Let it cook for about 4-6 hours depending on the size of the roast. :)..
You might need to put more water and seasonings throughout the night.

you need a roast beef, carrots, potato's and any other veg you like (peas, corn, green beans) and 2 cans of beef broth. put all ingredients (dice the potato's) in to a pan of water and cook on low heat until the beef is really tender. Start at about 9:00 am and cook until about 7:00pm. Stirring occasionally and adding water ever hour or 2 as needed. This makes the beef fall apart and is really good. Also makes your house smell yummy.

I use a slab of beef, 'new' red potatoes (the little ones), a bag of baby carrots, and a can of green beans. Cook the meat first for 2-3 hours at a low heat covered with foil....depending on the size of your roast, but for a pound of meat, cook at about 300. Put a couple of small slits in the top of the foil, just to release steam.

While it's cooking, cut up the potatoes and carrots and boil them until they are softened. (Not completely soft, just softened.) When there's only 45 mins or so left for your meat to cook, add the vegetables. Dot the veggies with pats of butter and salt them. Finish cooking and Wallaaah. :)

This is the simplest way to do it in my opinion. Oh, and I don't like onion, but if you do, slice up some onion and cook it over your meat for the flavor along with a sprinkle of garlic. Personally. I'll slice the onion into big rings so I can cook it on top of my meat for flavor, but then remove after cooking so I don't have to eat them.

Arm roast, or chuck roast. Brown.
Water. A few drops of vinegar,(makes the roast tender)I like potatoes, onion finely chopped, carrots, a little celery (if you add too much it will taste bitter.) A couple radishes (sliced thinly) Salt and Mrs. Dash original. Sometimes I add cauliflower, and broccoli. Add these the last 10 minutes or they will be too mushy. Yummmmy!

buy a roast. Grab your slow cooker. Slap it in there! Turn it on and bake for like three to four hours or untill done. Some people like to add cut up raw veggies, like potatoes, carrots, celery, onions ect, sprinkle them around and ontop of the roast. I sprinkle my roast with garlic powder, parsley and a little mrs dash of your taste! Its sooo easy! then i put the lid on let it cook untill veggies are tender and meat is done and enjoy!
