that best friend would sound selfish.

There should be some reason for yr best friend for wanting u to break up with yr bf. Ask her the reason and evaluate yr bf on that. If your friend is right and yr bf is not a good person, then you may start getting away from that relationship.
But if you think that yr friend is prejudiced and she is not right, you should explain and convince her about yr relation.

Unless your best friend has information about your bf that she hasn't told you or you haven't told in your question then I would say your best friend is just jealous of the time you are spending with your bf. Maybe your best friend isn't such a good friend after all. I would advise that you talk to both her and your bf. Find out why he/she does. After you find out what his/her problem w/your bf is then talk it over with your bf and see if a solution can be reached, a compromise. Good Luck

the only reason to break up with your boyfriend because your best friend wants you too is if he is abusing you physically, mentally or emotionally. ask you friend why she wants you to break up with this guy that you like. it sounds to me like she is jealous that you either have a boyfriend or that you are not spending as much time with her as you used to. don't break up with him because your friend is jealous or making you choose between the two. reassure her that you are still her friend but tell her that you really like this guy. if she is a true friend she will want you to be happy. good luck.

She is not a true friend. Besides it's not her decision. She needs to worry about herself. She's just jealous. If it was the other way around would she do it for you. But I don't think you would be selfish and not happy for her. She should be happy for you.

well i don't live my life for my best friend or no one. I live my life for me. I would tell her im not breaking up with him cause she wants to so she needs to drop it. Therefore, get her own life.

Girl, she wouldn't be no friend of mine even if she was my bff. I would tell her I'm not breaking up with my boyfriend so you can do it with him. Cuz u gota know that's what she wants to do.

well, if u and ur bf r really close then it shouldn't matter what she thinks. if she was a good friend she wouldn't try to break u up. follow ur heart, tho.... it's up to u....

Maybe she sees him differently. She might think he's not treating you right. If he is treating you with respect and love then she's probably just jealous. You should keep an eye on your friend! =)
