Alton Brown by farrrrrrr gives the best, most thorough info. He also makes the learning easy and fun! I don't like many of the others...they just cook. Alton helps YOU cook and know why you're doing what your doing! Create your own recipes! Watch Good Eats or even purchase Good Eats on DVD! Also, his new show, Feasting on Asphalt. That show makes me jealous of him. sniff-tear

Food Network is one of my most favorite channels...I have several favorite shows but I'll name a few:
- Unwrapped
- Paula's Home Cooking
- Everyday Italian
In general, I like most all of the shows because they are interesting and entertaining and cooking shows are just fun to watch in general.

mario batali, to me he is the most complete all-around chef, the guy knows everything about food including the history... i find Tony Bourdain hilarious, he is the most entertaining but dont really know much about his cooking.... emeril was cool when he was strting out, now he is predictable and not very original, even with his jokes, but he does enjoy what he does...

i do i love all the shows on food network. Paula dean is one of my favs. her sons now have a show of their own that is very fun to watch. There are plenty of cooks to watch on that network and it doesn't matter what u like they just about have it all. and the competition's they have on there are great to watch

Yes, Emeril. Cause he if fun to watch make the different meals. But I don't like his humming. I like his Bam's a lot better.

i love james martin. he cooks well, has a sense of humour and is also a spunk.
nigella lawson is also really great. i love her style and her approach to cooking, she's very real and i love that.
