i'm open to rude comments.. whatever..

I have found that jobs that use your mind take a lot more out of you than physically demanding jobs. I think this is because you can rest from the physical stuff, but mental things stay with you longer. You can't really turn off your mind, so it is still going long after you are home, unlike stopping a physical job and resting your aching muscles, etc. Try to get plenty of rest and eat healthy and find a special way to relax and you will feel like yourself in no time! Good luck!

the person who said depression may be onto something....but also consider that you may be suffering from rust-out.

its the opposite of burn-out. some people (sensation-seekers) need to have thrills, excitment and new experiences in thier lives. If that person is stuck doing the same thing each day in a job that does not challenge them, or if they are alone and without constant interpersonal contact for a while.. they will suffer from rust-out.

it is often mis-diagnosed as depression (well, honestly it is a clinical form of depression but it has slightly different symptoms). It has the similar tired with life feeling, but rust-out also has a unique combination of intense fatigue, a tiredness, and a need to find stimulation. It is a really confusing feeling i am sure, to be both fatigued (mentally) and yet too bored to rest untill you get a source of stimulation in your life.

of course this is all assuming its rust-out.

yeah, could be depression. typing is a lot more fatiguing than people seem to imagine, though. seriously. it's often suggested that one get in a stretch and a walk, every fifteen minutes, while typing, to reduce fatigue and stress. it sounds like a bit of both, with the depression in the lead, or, perhaps, chronic fatigue syndrome. get a check-up, if you can - there may be free health care clinics in your town, city, or hamlet. for what it's worth, i've felt that way all my life.

Could be boredom, or low iron levels or low thyroid levels.
Go to your clinic and have blood work done to determine if is the later 2.
Easy fixes then.
Boredom? Change your routine.
