I am only 17 and I have been in the worse relationships that you cannot even think of. I dont ever expect much from them the only thing that i ask for is that they treat me with respect and it seems that i cannot find that anywhere. Why do men cheat if you treat them good? Why does it seem that they wnat someone to treat them bad.?

All men do not cheat. In fact, if he is a real man, he will not cheat because a real man honors his commitments, is disciplined in his behavior, and treats his g/f or wife well. I'm afraid you have been going out with boys, no matter what their ages were.
A smart girl or woman will try to get to know a man before she dates him. If he doesn't treat her as she wants to be treated, sho won't go out with him in the first place. A smart woman will not have sex with a man until she gets to know him well enough to be able to judge his character.
Un fortunately, many women are "turned on" by guys that have poor character and find them exciting. Then, after they have been in a sexual relationship for some time and are tired of the cheating and abuse because of the man's lack of character, they don't take responsibility for their poor choice and say that men are rats.
Well, some men are rats, especially the ones around your age. But not all men are rats, there are plenty of good men. A smart
woman learns how to tell the rats from the good guys and only dates the good ones. They don't just go by their feelings, they use their head too.
By the way, there are plenty of women that are rats also. And if it is any consolation, I am 63 years old and didn't learn these things
until I was much older than you. I was in some very painful relationships and married the wrong woman but stayed with her
for 17 years because I loved her and because I didn't believe in divorce.
You are only 17 y/o. Please don't take as long as I did to learn what I wrote here.

Not all males cheat. Some males do cheat simply because they think they need more satisfying relationships. They cannot seem to resist making love affairs with other women. I don't know why men would more likely to cheat if they are being treated decently by their female companions. I know this doesn't make sense. I am a male and I expect everyone to treat me with respect. If people cannot respect for who I am, then it's their fault.

Hi, listen not all guys cheat you have just ran into some jerks, Your still young yet. your at the age where you should not be looking for Mr. Right, Just find a guy that you can be friends with that treats you with respect and cares for you and let your friendship grow from there, you have your whole life a head of you college, a career. take your time and see what the future will brings you. Some males dont cheat . I was 13 when I was starting dateing . I got cheating on so many times . I thought the same way your feeling right now . But when I met my boyfriend and I'm still with him . I understood some guys are not cheaters. I'm going to give you some advice it might help you. Get to know them. See what thier like . Someone you can trust to be with and who will care about you and only you . Cause no girl should ever get cheated on . I hope that you'll find someone who can make you happy .

most of these people have lame excuses about men. they seem to want to take up for them . well the truth is men are dogs and ther are a lot of them and i mean a lot of them out there. ive talk to guys and they even tell me that men are doggish. its not your fault. people will tell you that you are looking in the wrong place. you can find one of these dogs anywhere. from the white house to the streets of newyork. they are bad news and they cant be trusted. finding a good man is like a needle in a haystack. you know the ole saying you in your whole life you will be able to count all your true friends on one hand, well the same thing applies to men. true men are rare. men say women are the same. and maybe that is true, but the men made us this way. they are so many perverts in this world .just be careful who you give your heart to cause they will walk away as soon as they think something better comes along or they will string you along like a puppet. it has happen to me and many people that i know. its bad out there. so if you cant meet someone to respect you then the hell with them. men dont even have respect for themselves. its so many men who wont even take care of thier kids. not all men are this way but believe me the majority are so be careful. take care

It is in their blood to hunt. They also have way too much testosterone! You're still young. You have to realize that guys your age are in their sexual prime. They can't help it. They are also trying to compete with other males in their clan. Don't be in a rush to find the perfect guy. You have plenty of time. There are trustworthy guys out there somewhere. I think maybe they want someone that treats them bad so they don't feel as guilty for treating them bad.

I'm 16 and i would think it is because most guys want everything and if u don't give them everything they cheat. there some good guys that treat girls good out there. in fact if i ever find a another one I'm gonna start a club lol. cause it seems I'm the only one.

17 is a good age but you have the rest of your life to look ahead...standing from a female point of view and at the age of 18 at one time i thought that i was in love also but knowing now what i know and many years later and express to my own daughter (which in goes in one ear and out the other) have guys as friends-running buddies-being one of the guys-enjoy life because you have so much to live for and if let a guy treat you with no respect then they have no respect for themselves...guys are for one thing and hopefully you know but respect yourself first
finish school and go to college or trade school enjoy life with a few buddies see the world and in time you will get the respect that you have deserved from a man that is meant to be for you....love does find youi

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I have always been loyal to the ones I love so I don't understand how they can hurt someone they care for. A real man and not a player is faithful to his girl. I hope you find you a good man that never does you wrong and loves only you and I do mean that!

Its not just men. About 60% of men cheat, but about 40% of women cheat. Various reasons. Some people are addicted to the rush, curious, bored in their relationship, give in to a person who is pressuring them, maybe they dont see anything wrong with cheating, maybe you are too clingy, maybe you just have had a bad run with men and need to raise your standards, maybe you judge them and it drives them away, maybe they just like the ego trip of having a commited woman and a mistress. whatever. people are imperfect and screw up all the time, including you. cheating is just one of the many ways that people mess up.
