15 year old boys are into trying to make themselves look as good as possible to the opposite sex, so yes, it's perfectly normal.
Just make sure he puts the board away.

It is unusual, however my fifteen year old son has ironed his own clothes for about two years. He is a very sharp dresser and want's to look his best when he is dressed up. His mother, my wife has had a great deal of other things to take up her time so she didn't always get his shirts ironed.

Im not sure what is normal. I have a 2 1/2 year old son that likes to do laundry and fold clothes. He hasn't mastered the art in folding, but im sure he'll be there in no time.

Yes, besides this you must encourage him to do all the things by him self so tomorrow when may be you are not around he won't be defenseless and may be make the mistake picking up the wrong girl just because his looking for a 2nd. mother and not for a real wife. His actions got nothing to do with homosexuality inclination, if this's what you're afraid of.

I'd say that it's more uncommon, as opposed to not being "normal." I'd also say that he's learning responsibility at an incredibly young, most impressionable age. Does he have younger siblings? If so, he's definitely in the process of setting a postive example for his younger brothers or sisters to admire.

Normal? No. Impressive? Yes. A 15 year old boy who cares about his appearance in these days of baggy azz pants, and sideways ball caps. Congratulations...Mothers all over the world are seething with jealousy...

Excellent! You've raised an independent young man. You're on a roll, keep going! But you might need to check him out with a councilor :) I didn't think anyone under 35 ironed ANYTHING any more.

So he wants to look good while on vacation. Maybe hoping to get lucky. Let him enjoy himself. Don't make him embarassed by mentioning it. Sounds like the lad is showing some responsibility. Good for him!

What is normal about a fifteen year old son? I'm sure it's just a phase he's going through.

Style can be important to strait people too... is it just wrinkled clothes, or is something sticking out, like a collar. I know that collars on my shirts stick up sometimes, and the only way to get them to stay down it to use an iron... i dunno. ya must have done somethin right... he actually knows how to use an iron.
