There are no bright colors or feelings of flight --LSD apparently does that for some people, not marijuana.
With marijuana, the "high" comes on SUDDENLY --wham. Any arthritis or joint pain that you have goes away. Your ability to concentrate and remember (to work puzzles and games, for example) goes to hell immediately. You can't concentrate and, in fact, music that you don't like sounds interesting to you because you can't listen carefully enough to the melody and orchestration to DISLIKE it. Many mundane things suddenly seem funny. If you are with someone you think is hot, then you are really going to be turned on by that person when stoned on marijuana. You will have trouble following a complicated conversation.
Your inhibitions will fade dramatically. If you are fearful or suspicious, you will be alert and imagine some threats out there. If you are a natural comedian, you will be funny and witty without fully realizing what you are doing.
Unless you've just eaten, you will probably feel thirsty, then also hungry. There will be a tremendous tendency to SNACK and then take a NAP.
Marijuana is an unparalleled short term arthritis pain reliever and sleeping pill, it works like a charm with no after effects.

No. People that haven't tried marijuana usually think that its effects are like LSD, but all that really happens to you is you laugh a lot at things that normally aren't funny and you laugh until it hurts at things that normally are funny, your eyes get red. Some people can get the "munchies" too, when you have this horrible hunger and no matter how much you eat, you never feel full *i'm one of those people.... Some people just get awkward though. They feel paranoid, think everyone is watching them, feel stupid, and mumble(then laugh at what no one else could understand). *good thing I'm not like that...

i suffer from depression and anxiety due to a brain aneurysm yet i often feel angry. when i use marijuana all my bad feelings fade away and i feel happy and glad to still be alive. i've never seen bright colours or felt like flying- this sounds more like an acid trip. unlike my partner who uses a lot of pain killers for pain, i simply smoke a joint and lay back and enjoy the stone knowing that my body isn't full of harmful chemicals.

Asking questions about the things in life is good--but for me as an adult to discuss the effects of marijuana to a minor while on an internet website would be dumb.

In my experiences, it makes you tired and lazy. But really giggly. It's fun. You don't see weird colors, but you think really odd thoughts. And usually voice them aloud...

Curiosity and wanting to know is one of the reason why one actually started taking. Please do not even think of wanting to know because when you do know you will already been in hell. To go into it is easy and the hard part is to get out from it. DON'T IMAGINE, DON'T ASK, DON'T THINK etc about it at all. DISCARD THE THOUGHTS FOREVER.
