Hug him and tell him that I love him.
My son was gay, and was killed in a car accident about four years ago. Sure wish I could hug him just one more time...

well I think you have to accept it - is anything really worth loosing your kids over? If he is really gay he wont change for you (not and be happy)- so you either accept it or loose him. Must be rough though - I don't think any parent would ever want to hear that - but if you've ever lost a loved one you'd know how important it is to make the most of the time we all have together. You don't have to be an active part of him being gay - but you also don't have to stop loving him for his descion either... GOOD LUCK to you and your family while going thru this tuff time.

If I found out that my son was gay..... Of course I would be upset but I would expect it because thats who he is... I will love him no matter what even if he is making a mistake ....

I would have a nice long talk with him. I would definately let him know that My love for him is unconditional. I would try to be there for him because he has chosen a way of life that may not be accepted in this society. I would try and talk to him about the pro's and cons of being gay. I would accept him and his choice but I would ask him to respect my feelings and not flaunt his lifestyle.

people are born gay something triggers inside the womb and a kid at birth is either gay or not u dont turn gay. some people just try not to except that there gay

I would love and accept him just the same as I did before I found out. I think it is his life to live as he chooses. Whomever makes him happy is good enough for me.

Embrace him and tell him you love him. He will have enough problems dealing with society and their stupid attitudes. He needs to know that you are a warm safe place to come home to,free from judgement.

Try to understand where he's coming from, and dont stop loving him. You need only to accept it. He must live with it. It's not something he chose. He is who he is.
