Recently I have been diagonised with lumbar sacral spondylosis of L5-S1 verterbrae. Doctor advised wearing lumbo sacral belt and taking calcium tablets. But I am having severe burning pain in my lower back. Sometimes the pain spread to my left arm and left thigh. While doing excercise or riding two wheeler also I am getting this kind of pain. What should I do? Will it leads to paralysis? What are the treatment options? Anybody working in medical field, please clarify my doubts. (I am already an anxiety patient.)

My two older children both have this. They ran Cross Country, track and played basketball in high school, and my daugher is pregnant with her 2nd child, and both of them have desk jobs. They have found that they have to stay physically fit, but by running, walking, not anything sitting more. They also go to Physical Therapy off and on alot; and do back strengthening exercises. It doesn't lead to paralysis. They both also have spina bifida occulta and are leading very normal and full lives. Maintaining healthy weight is key. Good luck. Try not to let anxiety about what might happen get ya down.

Good Luck and God Bless.

There is no cure for this disorder with Orthopaedic Surgeon. Take the help of an Acupressure or Sujok Therapist and he will make you to live happily again. I am too far to handle your situation. This is a curable disorder because I have cured many with similar complications. Take pain killers to get rid of your problem until you find above therapist in your locally. Going to doctor will not help. Take care and be in good health.
