I wanted to put everclear in clear plastic poland spring bottles. Don't ask why, you already know. Anyway, I was thinking, is that too high of a proof to put in? Will the high alcohol "eat through" the thin plastic? I know sometimes in a paper cup alcohol seems to somehow leak out like eating through like acid or something. Does anyone anticipate any problems with putting everclear in plastic poland spring bottles and storing them for maybe a month or two before drinking?? I know you're supposed to keep alcohol in tightly sealed container. I wonder if the water bottle isn't tightly sealed enough?

Well it will take a while to go through them all as the semester goes along. And of course I will mix them as well as be responsible.

It won't eat through the bottles, but it runs the risk of leaching solvents out of the plastic, possibly contaminating the booze. Try to find glass bottles if you can.

The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. The water should be fine, when water goes it usually grows algae in it & has green stuff. The canned food is ok after the expiration date, but you need to always be using it and replacing it as you go and not let it get too old. The Mormons sell canned dehydrated food for long term storage. The cans are varnished outside and coated inside for long term use. If you are going to store water, get plastic barrels and put bleach in them and seal the tops then every year or two you can drain them and refill with new water if you wish. Plastic barrels are also good to store beans or rice dry. P

i say everclear is pretty hardcore of a drink and if you are going to store it in a water bottle, i highly recommend you dont drink that shi t by itself! add some kool-aid to that, and then maybe if it does eat through it will be diluted enough with the kool-aid. maybe? it was a suggestion, but everclear knocks me on my butt....sorry im no help lol
