how do you find the location of the key switch and neutral switch and how does one go about fixing them and knowing if they are faulty on a 93 ford probe se

The key switch is behind the key tumbler on the column.
The neutral safety switch is on the shifter shaft on the transmission.

The neutral switch is located on the transaxle. The ignition switch is located on the lower part of the steering column and is connected to the key lock with a long thin rod a bit thicker than a coat hangar.

key switch is on the end of the key lock on that car. and the neutral safety switch ... is it a manual or auto. manual it screws into the transmission. and has a 2 wire plug. auto. it could still be on the trans. but i think its on the shifter on the floor in the car under that cover... give more info on what its doing. you have to play with the key for it to start.... auto and have to have in neutral for it to start ???
