If I guess, I think you are asking what sort of questions to ask to get to know someone on a deeper level.

Here are some examples.....
What is your passion in life?
What do you see yourself doing five years from now?
What do you think happens to us when we die?
Do you have grandparents? And are you close to them?
What do you want your life to mean as you age?
Who is your hero and why?
What direction do you think humanity is heading? And why.
Do you have philosophy on what our lives mean and why are we here?
If you could move anywhere and had all the money you could use, where would you be and what would you be doing?
---------That last question....lets say a girl answers...that she would live in a mansion on Malibo Beach have ten sports cars and the most expensive things. Have a maid. And not have to work.
-------- A person with more substance would more apt to say that they would buy a house for everyone in the family. Get themself a decent house and a fun car, but would continue their job. They would want to donate money to all sorts of needy orginizatons.
They might say they wouldn't work, But travel the world. And volenteer in a third world country helping other people. And maybe set up a educational grant to help put kids through college.

How a person answers will tell you much about their prioties and goals.
