Why not hurt them? They're not China Dolls, you know. They will recover. Maybe in the long run, a little toughening up is what they need.
I know that this issue seems larger than life when you're a teenager, but really, it's just the way the world turns. I wish I could go back now and talk to my teenage self and just tell him to lighten up. Not being liked by a particular person is not the end of the world, you just go searching for another person.

ok this is comin g from a guy ..... hmmm well there really is no "nice" way of telling the guy thats got the hots 4 u but u know were guys we can take a hit a the best advice i can give u be friends with him but do it dont say it guys ussaly dont make a move twords u after rejection try it

Sorry but it is goign to hurt no matter what. but that is life. We all have this happen at some time and I can say this much. LIfe goes on. Be firm and gentle as possible. If he doesn't accept that then be firm and stand your ground.
If he still doesn't get it then it is time for a restraining order. :)

Don't be snobby and don't act like you are just brushing it off with carelessness. Make it a point that you value the persons friendship a lot but just don't see them in a different way other than that.

Be honest about it.

try to hook up the guy with some of your single friend if you wish to remain friends.
Don't ignore him or brush him off.

politeleness goes a long way.say softly dat u like him as a frnd but for a life partner u cant agree to his proposal.if he's sensible enough,he's sure to understand n ll never need enough clarification.
