Actually, it is newly legal in the town I live in (BC, Canada) but I still wouldn't go topless, nor have I seen any other girls walking around half naked. It's not because I'm modest or anything, but it's still not socially acceptable and a lot of people would just stare at me like I'm a freak (or s l u t). I think it could definitely jeopardize a girls rep. But at home...no problem ;)

It depends on the circumstances! If I would be at a beach in Europe and the women would be topless, I sure would be too. I wouldn't want to stick out like a sore thumb.

In 1996 the Ontario Court of Appeal ruled that women exposing their breasts in public was legal, based on their equality with men, and not an indecent act under the Criminal Code. It's a decision that is still opposed by some.
But I have yet to see anyone do it! Of course, there were a few who did so in the media in 1996 to show support, and there will always be bare breasts at biker rallies, rock concerts, and La Leche League gatherings REGARDLESS of the local governance.
But the answer to your question is "No" - at least in Ontario, Canada!

No. God gave Adam AND Eve coats to cover themselves after "the fall." In my opinion, men shouldn't be allowed to be topless, either!

Well, in certain cultures women go topless from birth till they pass. I've also noticed that some of these women have elongated breasts. I believe it's due to lack of support.

Twenty years ago, if I wasn't so darned pale and prone to skin cancer...(The down side to being red- headed...) But I have no problem with other women being topless. I never understood why it was OK for men, but not women!! (Maybe because of all the riots that would start!!!)
Peace.

If it were allowed by law, that would mean it's no longer looked down on. So, you wouldn't be wondering that in the first place. It would be like wondering if you should show your nose in public. It's not taboo. You don't wonder.
