why does cat poop smell terrible?

of course i don't go around smelling them, but the smell is just too strong. i guess that is what cat litter is for.

i know poop smells terrible, i'm just making it specific. i don't own a cat, so i don't have cat litter.

Try feeding cat only one food. Iams, or sCIENCE diet any of the TOP brands that dont have a lot of filler to them.
It will reduce the smell somewhat .and also the size and amounts, No more runny stuff. your cat will look better too. Use a granulated scoopable littler ,change out used stuff everyday. Oder control is possible in multicat household look for litter with oder control.

what are you feeding your cat. Probably cheep food, go to petsmart and get some natural choice complete care indoor formula for your cat. that will help a lot.

its due to the high protein intake that is necessary in their diet. even cat litter cannot take away the smell. but thank god, they dun poo very often do they?
