I have always had problems with my hair growing slower than I would like, so I avoided cutting it, hoping it would grow more. What I have learned, and been taught, since then, is that the more often you trim your hair, the faster it will grow. Since I have been trimming my hair often, it has grown much faster. Also, taking care of your hair and making sure you get your daily vitamins will assure that your hair will grow more steadily. Hope that helps. : )

My mother's hair was starting to thin after her pregnancy, as to other women as well, so she started taking a vitamin called, Biotin. Biotin not only makes your hair grow faster and thicker it also makes your nails thicker so you don't scrtch people. I highly recommennd it it helped my mom and her was growing very fast. And her relatively long nails did not scratch me. Yuo can get this vitamin from GNC or Whole Foods.
Hope My Advice Helped You,
Genna
