i want to find a career in vet medicine that i can really, really enjoy. i've worked with a lot of clinical vets, but most of them were real jerks and penny-pinchers. i want a job that i can wake up and be excited to go to work for, b/c i love animals, but apparently loving animals isn't enough to make you love your job. at least that's what the vets i've worked for have shown me.

I have found that most vets (like you) usually start off really excited about their career choice (even if they own their own practice). I think that it's just the fact that eventually it becomes "just a job" like with anyone.

Why not try becoming a vet for a zoo...I think that sounds like a lot of fun. :)

I stay contained in the U. S., and that i'm an approved Veterinary Technician, which could be an same as a Veterinary Nurse. i appreciate my pastime, yet i have been given into it because i appreciate helping Animals. at the same time as i began extremely operating contained in the sphere, i become surprised at how a lot human interplay there become. i become searching ahead to to be operating extra with animals, in spite of the undeniable fact that the significant area of the pastime is operating with human beings. at the same time as i love operating with animals, and idea that i'd not delight in operating with human beings, i love it. I have spread out, i become so shy. yet you style bonds with the persons. they are so appreciative of what you do for his or her puppy. And once you're helping the puppy, you're many times helping the vendors extra. once you do some thing like taking off up a lump from a canines's leg, the canines particularly would not care even if it is there or no longer, yet their vendors see a dazzling massive difference, and particularly take exhilaration in the care you gave their canines. good success, i desire you're making the right selection on your occupation. i appreciate being a LVT. yet i imagine in case you particularly love helping human beings, psychology ought to also be an impressive selection. good success!!!!

My vet is excellent and he's had the same staff for at least 10 years. I'd say it's just a matter of finding the right place. Try smaller vet clinics.

You could try being an animal control officer. I did that for 5 years and it was great. The pay was decent, and I worked with people that shared my general opinion about animals. Plus, you truly do get to help animals that are in bad situations.(and write ticket to a$$holes that don't treat animals right.) Try it.
