I have an appreciation for most cultures, but I speak only of the ones I am most familiar with. Islam is among them.
The media portrays the image of the Muslim in a plate that hungry Americans savor with little interests on the meaning of words; words like "terrorists", "extremists", etc. But little is taken into account that without larger countries using any means necessary to invade, divide and corrupt a country, words such as "invaders", "cultural disrruptors" will never make the cut. And we'll never see how or what the "terrorists" are feeling much about do because no one ever interviews one. But then ... who are the "real" terrorists. Take Columbus for instance. People still parade up and down celebrating his regime and cleansing techniques, but no one ever talks about them. Why? Who knows. People want to believe what is told, read or passed on to them. I, for one, believe that Islam is a worthy discipline. No one is called "father" except 1 person. And that's how it ought to be.

for someone to think that all Muslims are terrorists is very non cosmopolitan. Its a racial opinion to judge an entire group of people based on a few individuals within that group. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but, all terrorist that have threatened this country in the past few years have been Muslim.
None of the hijackers were southern baptist. ;-)

The Muslim community is getting stereotyped by the terrorists. You are a Muslim you are a terrorist. This is all I know. I feel sorry for all of those that are not, but if it does not stop this fear and hatred will continue to be fueled by the terrorists and they keep doing it in the name of Allah.

There MAY be Muslims who are not terrorists but most believe the Koran, which teaches that it is okay to kill any non-Muslim's..and many agree with what the terrorists do. (Some secretly.)

We only see the exteremists of their religion. We dont' see the everyday muslims who are honest men and women who follow the Koran and do charity and good works.

It's hard to believe there are good people in a group when all you see is the bad people in the group. If you actually read the Koran it says:

"Whoever taketh the life of one, it shall be as if he hath taken the life of all mankind and whoever saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he hath savest all mankind."

one word for ya. PROPAGANDA.

the best way to unite a group is to create a common enemy and the best way to keep that united group under control is to keep them filled with fear and willing to give up their freedoms and morality for the illusion of safety. evil people of power have used this tactic throughout history and the mob always seems to fall for it.
