If you want to be technical, woodlands hills is actually PART OF the city of L.A. (the entire San Fernando Valley is part of the city of Los Angeles)! The other people are giving you distance from downtown LA. Woodlands Hills isn't just in the "LA area" or just "LA county", it is actually in Los Angeles proper.

Woodland Hills "California is a proximity of San Fernado Valley, and depending on traffic, is about 45 min. to an 1 1/2 from L.A.

It's a beautiful area though

woodland Hills has extra shops according to sq. mile than the different city interior the universe. If that bores you, there are action picture theaters. then you definately can branch out to Malibuu or the Ventura beaches.
