Jws believe in the Bible
Gods name is Jehovah
Jesus is the first created "thing" and that through Jesus, as Gods chief agent and master worker, God created all things
There is no Hell fire.
There is no immortal soul.
God purpose is for mankind to live on earth under his authority.
Satan has been given a period of time to prove his challenge to God that no man will serve God because he wants to, that is why there is trouble on the earth.
God's due time is almost up until he steps into remove Satan
A small number of people (Bible says 144000) are to be taken to heaven to be kings and priests and joint heirs with Christ in Gods kingdom
The rest of mankind to inherit the earth.
The earth will will be returned to the "paradise" conditions that God set out in the garden of Eden
The message that Jesus spoke about most was the Kingdom of God.
He commanded his followers to preach the good-news of the kingdom. (that is why we go from door to Door)
That no man or organisation can save you, you must do that by having a personal relationship with God.
We can get a personal relationship with God and attain to salvation by believing in the Bible, following the example of his son, continue to take in knowledge of God and Jesus, exercise faith in the ransom (not just believing, works prove our faith) No amount of works will save a person, being obedient to the laws and principles as set out in the Bible, baptism,
We do not celebrate Christmas and Easter because even though they are loosely based on the Bible they follow pagan celebrations.
We do not join any armed forces in any country
We do not vote for any government in any country
We are to obey all the laws of the land except where they conflict with Gods laws (eg, war)
Those are the main points
PS By the way some of what Cris C wrote above is wrong. We do not believe Jesus came back to earth in 1914, we allowed to read other books and magazines, do we believe jesus is the Christ and Messiah

Thank you also for the nice comments about Jehovah's Witnesses we are not a cult, nor are we brainwashed. We are encouraged to research everything we are taught from the Bible.
I am going to include a link to the official site of Jehovah's Witnesses so you can explore it for yourself at your leizure. I think you will learn a lot about us, and see for yourself that we are not a cult.

they believe that even though King James obtained forty+ of the best translators in the 1500's that they made more than 2,000 mistakes in the bible. That group reviewed each others work as much as 17 times. they sent their translations back and forth between six diferent groups and each group reviewed all of the other groups work. This was a dedicated group who firmly believed and even wrote in thier work that no man should take from God's word or add to it or God would take from that person his eternal life or add to his misery. Who in their right mind would deliberately do work on a translation of the ancient scriptures and deliberately risk God's wrath by adding something that didn't belong in there. PURE FOLLY.
There are sites that will explain all of their teachings if you really want to know.
The official site is www.watchtower.org
Use either Yahoo or google to search for Jehovahs witness, there are a bunch of sites out there.
Keep an open mind

from Watchtower.org
"JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES believe in Almighty God, Jehovah, Creator of the heavens and the earth. The very existence of the intricately designed wonders in the universe surrounding us reasonably argues that a supremely intelligent and powerful Creator produced it all. Just as the works of men and women reflect their qualities, so do those of Jehovah God. The Bible tells us that "his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made." Also, without voice or words, "the heavens are declaring the glory of God."—Romans 1:20; Psalm 19:1-4.
People do not mold clay pots or make television sets and computers without a purpose. The earth and its creations of plant and animal life are far more marvelous. The structure of the human body with its trillions of cells is beyond our understanding—even the brain with which we think is incomprehensibly wonderful! If men have a purpose in bringing forth their comparatively insignificant inventions, surely Jehovah God had a purpose in his awesome creations! Proverbs 16:4 says that he does: "Everything Jehovah has made for his purpose."
Jehovah made the earth for a purpose, as he stated to the first human pair: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth . . . , have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth." (Genesis 1:28) Because they became disobedient, this couple failed to fill the earth with righteous families who would lovingly care for the earth and its plants and animals. But their failure does not make Jehovah's purpose fail. Thousands of years later, it was written: "God, the Former of the earth . . . , did not create it simply for nothing." He "formed it even to be inhabited." It is not to be destroyed, but "the earth endures for ever." (Isaiah 45:18; Ecclesiastes 1:4, The New English Bible) Jehovah's purpose for the earth will be realized: "My own counsel will stand, and everything that is my delight I shall do."—Isaiah 46:10.
Hence, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the earth will remain forever and that all people, living and dead, who will fit in with Jehovah's purpose for a beautified, inhabited earth may live on it forever. All mankind inherited imperfection from Adam and Eve and, hence, are sinners. (Romans 5:12) The Bible tells us: "The wages sin pays is death." "The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all." "The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." (Romans 6:23; Ecclesiastes 9:5; Ezekiel 18:4, 20) Then how can they live again to share in the earthly blessings? Only through the ransom sacrifice of Christ Jesus, for he said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." "All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."—John 5:28, 29; 11:25; Matthew 20:28.
How will this come about? It is explained in "the good news of the kingdom," which Jesus started to proclaim while on earth. (Matthew 4:17-23) But today Jehovah's Witnesses are preaching the good news in a very special way."

Jehovah Witnesses deny that Jesus Christ is God in that He is part of the Holy Trinty...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
They believe that Jesus was a created being, originally going by the name Michael the Archangel and then became Christ when born of the virgin and becomeing man....having previously been Michael....not the divine God, the Son, Jesus Christ the Messiah, the WORD that was God and the Word that became flesh.
They are permitted to read ONLY their own publications such as Watchtower, Awake and their own translation of the bible called the New World Translation that only they use.
They believe that Jesus (a created being) has already returned to earth....back in 1914.
The 144,000 mentioned in the Book of Revelation is already in heaven....its all Jehovah Witnesses.....and none of the rest of us can get in. Heaven is full.
Holy Bible scriptures tell us to deny Christ; Christ will deny us to the Father. Jehovah Witnesses do not believe in Christ nor the Trinity so they are in opposition to the Christian Bible and Christian Faith. They are a Cult....sorry.

i know they don't believe in saying the pledge of allegiance, which i think is weird. it's not a religion-bashing thing, just because it mentions god. it's honoring your flag, your country, and your origins.
