I'm uploading pictures from my Kodak camera and some of them turn out show half of the picture but the other half is gray and some of them say this file exists but may be damaged...how do i fix this? i've tried it on 2 computers.

You are not going to be able to "fix" the files do there is no information there. You may be able to use something like paintshop pro to repair the jpegs if you have the art talent, but the rest of the pic. just didn't write to your computer. If you can "see" the complete pictures in the camera's monitor, then the file is complete on the card and you are getting a bad "read". If that is the case you can clean the contacts on the card edge with alcohol and see if can get a good up-load. If the pics are not complete in the camera then you have a write problem in the camera, could still be dirty card contacts. If that is the case, format the card and try some test shots. Could even be a bad media card.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

it can upload/download your camera to your PC.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video clips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google
