ABSOLUTELY YES
If iran gets its nuclear reactor in Bushehr online, they are DEFINATELY going to try and develop atomic bombs with the explicit intent of destroying Israel.
Normally, I wouldn't believe thy would do it except for the fact that EVERY SINGLE NIGHT ON THEIR RADIO ADDRESSES, they SAY THEY WANT TO DO JUST THAT.
Why the hell is Iran building a fission reactor anyway?
Peaceful purposes?
Of course not.
Iran has all the oil wealth in the entire world and it uses far less than countries like America and Britain. There is absolutely no reason for a country like Iran to have a nuclear reactor and it is America's duty to make sure that that reactor NEVER GOES ONLINE.
I am very dissapointed with Bush. He is quick to declare war on Iraq but when it comes to a true threat like this to the civilized world, he does nothing.
If I was president of the USA for 60 minutes, I would send a squadron of F22's to blow their reactor SKY HIGH with JDAM bombs dropped from about 55,000 feet.
The Iranians couldn't do anything about it but shake their fists at our jets as they are leaving. They lack the air defenses to stop us from achieving that goal.
If America waits till the reactor goes online, we won't be able to destroy it without causing a "Chernobyl" type problem in that region.
WHY THE HELL ARE WE WAITING?
Iran is the reason Hezbollah had 13,000 Katyushah rockets to launch in the first place. If Iran became nuclear armed, they would have sold nukes to Hezbollah (or even given them away).
What nobody understands is that if one muslim country or faction uses a nuclear weapon against Israel or America successfully, it is a VICTORY FOR THE ENTIRE ARAB WORLD because they hate Christians and Jews.
We cannot give them ANY victories.
We can only give them maximum losses and DEMORALIZING DEFEATS.
Even if Israel was nuked and launched a retaliation on the attackers, they would still lose 90% of their population and eternally be beaten.
It is America's duty to protect Israel since it is the only democracy in that entire region.
Do you think Al Queda, Hamas or Hezbollah give a damn about the environmental impact of nuclear bombs?
THEY LIVE IN A DESERT - WAKE UP BUSH !
You can't use diplomacy with those people. The only thing that works is force in their case.
If ISRAEL hadn't destroyed Saddam Hussein's reactor in Osirak, Hussein would have had REAL WMD's right now and he'd still be in power.
I wish to God Israel's Air force would strike Tehran RIGHT NOW. I'd have the Iranian reactor in ruins before 2:00 PM tommorrow - just in time to watch Judge Judy.
Look what happens when we don't act... Pakistan developed their project in secret and now they have weapons pointed at India.
China stole their technology from America since they were too unimaginative to come up with their own and now they have weapons pointed at the US.
I would have EXECUTED WIN HO LEE for his treachery...publicly.
As for Kim Jong Il, I woulda blown that little buck toothed bastard out his little penthouse 10 years ago. He wouldn't have had time to starve his population.
America's Air Force is designed to deliver 20,000 pounds of diplomacy WHENEVER, WHEREVER.

Rationally and Realistically speaking...I dont think so. At the moment it would take many months even years before the fracking Iranians have at least one bomb (assuming they started early this year). Then there's the problem of delivering the damn thing (nuke or dirty bomb or whatever) to the Israeli targets. Best chance is with infiltration but the Israelis are on high Alert now...so Im sure they'll be on the lookout for anything weird or out of the ordinary. If the Iranians do it the old-fashioned way with Aircraft and/or Ballistic Missile not only will that be doomed to failure but that will alert the world to Iran's true intentions (the same as that of the Nazis).
Personally though I wouldnt be surprised at what that stupid Iranian with the monkey-name does anymore.

Iran doesn't have the advanced technology yet to do so, and even if they did I dont think they would nuke Israel it would also destroy others lands around israel and it is just not a feasibile tool of war for the Middle East

no, iran has nothing to gain by using a nuclear weapon. besides they do not have the capability yet to make anything more than a dirty bomb. people seem to think it's easy to synthesize plutonium or uranium. like any bonehead with a centrifuge in his basement and some radioactive isotopes could suddenly have a nuclear bomb. it's really a very complicated process.
iran wants to be a player on the world stage. they're using the threat of building nukes as a bargaining chip. india and pakistan did the same thing. but using the nuke does not raise one's stock. in fact it would spell certain doom for the one who uses it. president ahmedenijad wants to be taken seriously. i think he's going about it all wrong. but his motive is more power on the world stage. not simple destruction.

I don't think Iran will nuke Israel because they do not have a nuke bomb yet...But if they tried sending missiles or a blew up a dirty bomb there, I know Israel will nuke Iran and possibly Syria...It looks pretty scary over there.

That's not a bad question but I think that there is know way that they would dare do something like that. They would have to either cross Iraqi air space, which I'm sure you would imagine, is very secure right now, or they would have to have an ally near by that would help them. Lebanon is too small for such an operation to happen without the US interfering before hand. It would also pretty much throw all chances of them having nuclear poser down the sh*tter.

Considering they don't have nukes yet, it would be pretty tough for them to do so...maybe Israel will nuke Iran...doubtful, but at least that is possible

The nationwide Iraqi government encompasses each and every of the communities in Iraq, not in basic terms the Shiites. So, you're incorrect from the start. How completely standard. we could rather like to have sensible discussions with you, yet you may't even carry close person-friendly information.
