I am 44 years old and I am still having the same experience that I have had since I began dating. You go out with a guy, they say that they will call, and then all the stupid games begin. The not calling, the calling and saying they will stop by and dont, the stopping by and saying they will be back and dont. You know the crap. Why are males a huge waste of timenad why do we believe that it will ever change? iI would just like to tell all you men something. You suck. I am so bored with it.

It all depends on what you allow into your life...
go out on dates before you invite him to your house..get to know him out side of the house, outside of the bedroom, inside of conversation, dinner, movie, dancing, walks, gym, golf, sports bar...
take their number, don't give out yours, in the beginning, you have to weed through the crop to get the best in the field.

Take your time.
...and have fun cause men are still growing too.

If this has been ongoing in your life, it could be time to ask, "maybe it's me".

What's happening between "going out" and "the not calling"? It's not that cut and dry. One of 2 things are happening....you're not giving enough in the relationship, and the guys are just getting fed up, or you're giving too much, and they're getting their fill and then moving on.

Or, you're continually attracting or attracted to a low-class type of guy who's just going to pull stunts like this.

In any event, the perfect definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result. If things in this arena are repeating themselves in your life, find a new approach. Take a breather, either change your perspective, your attitude, or your approach, and then dive in again.

And you know what? You're not bored with it; you may be frustrated, but you obviously are still holding out some hope. Hope is a good thing, you need to help it along a little.

I know what you mean, girl!!

I had the same problem before I met my husband of almost 2 years! I actually was in the same boat that you were, and I thought I was never going to meet the right man. I tried Yahoo Personals, and low and behold I met my hubby! We talked online for about a month, met in person, got engaged about 4 months later and had a 10 month engagement before we were married.

Online dating is actually very successful (sites like www.yahoopersonals.com, www.eharmony.com, www.match.com) because you get to know someone through conversation (whether through instant messenger, e-mail or phone calls) without being so up close and personal right away. You get a chance to get all of the "chit chat" out of the way and are more comfortable with the person when you actually meet in person.

Try it out, even if you don't have success, it will be something that is new and interesting, and opens you up to a whole new group of men----and who knows, you might meet Mr. Right!! Hope this helps, and good luck! :)

People can only treat you that way if you let them. We all want someone who will be a gentleman and take the lead in the relationship but, unfortunately, there are very few of those around these days. Be more assertive in getting what you want - take his number and call him instead of waiting for him - you call the shots a while and then you can stop his game playing.

don't lump all guys in the same category. We're not all the same. If that was the case then why are all women superfical and money hungry. They're not. there are guys that do call back and do stop over you may be going for the looks and not the person. get to know them before you date.

Aww. You seem to be down on your luck. All guys aren't like that! Many of them are sweet and caring. Of course, I have never dated have had a Boyfriend in my life, but I have a whole bunch of guy friends and they are sweet and perfectly nice. And they treat their girlfriends the same way. So just keep looking, you'll find a guy who is a eco-centric moron who can't pick up the phone!

You see women have more issues than men. Thats why its easier for men to move on in relationships or to brush things off

Please don't turn gay and keep trying dont have sex too soon and have personality and try new things have fun and stop worring

Go to church. You may find a good man in the club but if you found him there 9 out of 10 you will find him there when things are going to bad. Look for men who are by their self in public. Now about your soul mate, only god knows who that is and if you pray and go out and have fun and don't stay in the house alot on weekends then you may just run into him. Ask trustful friends to hook you up with a sensible man. Look nice and have conversation stay fit and be confident in you and don't be a weak woman. Stand up for you and who you are and want to be someday

Yep guys are stupid. they don't know a good thing when it's staring straight in their faces, but when they realilze that they've got something priceless in front of them, they'll never let it go. you have to find the one before you can be satisfyed with the opposite sex. they're a pain in the neck, but well worth it in the end. Good Luck with your love life!

It's because they are not good communicators by nature. But then, it depends on what they want. When they want sex, they seem to have no problem articulating this. It's almost as if they don't see the need to treat us with respect unless they're going to get something out of it.
