I would have to say lay off the juice. Try giving him more water. I wouldn't know if he was allergic to bread with having green stools. I would go to a diffrent doctor if your not getting your answers from the one you have been using.

Common sense.
Take him off the bread and anything with gluten and see how his bowel actions are. If they are normal you can start reintroducing one thing at a time and see what triggers it off.
If they are still green after a week you may have to look further afield and cut out more things.
If you want to cut out everything and start from scratch feed him nothing but pears, rice and fish - have a look at the links below for more low-allergy things to feed him.
Chart what he can eat and what he can't eat in a book.
Take it to your doctor.
If he can't see what's obvious, then take it to another doctor.
Most doctors tell you "what's in the manual", but
1) some doctors are dumb / make mistakes / etc and get sued
2) some doctors are really smart, well motivated and care for their patients (and sometimes even these guys make mistakes and get sued, but they usually do it less)

My kids only get green stool when they have a virus. But lasting for a month is a long time. A doctor just tells you basically whats in their manual. You need to tell him about all the symtoms and observations and see what he says again.

this also happens to me (the green poo), the purple dye in most foods makes mine grass green, it can also happen from other food grade dyes. hope this helps. I'm not a doctor though, look on the pedilyte bottle see what the ingredients are

bychance, does he get grape pedialyte? Purple dyes cause green poops. Grape juices will do it. Even eating lots of green veggies, peas, spinach etc can do it, stop the bread ONLY and see if it stops - if it does - it's the bread.

JUST ACT ON WHAT THE DOCTOR SAID AND STOP MAKING THINGS OUT TO BE COMPLICATED. IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL, THERE ARE MUCH WORSE THINGS TO WORRIE ABOUT, LIKE SPENDING MORE TIME WITH YOUR SON INSTEAD OF ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS ON THE INTERNET!
