I don't think the issue has EVER been about whether or not terrorists exist, and if free societies fight them.
By the way, that's pretty ludicrous, dishonest, and insulting political spin to play.
The issue is whether or not Bush's foreign policy is actually making the world safer or more dangerous in the face of terrorism. Oh, and don't try to give Bush any credit for today, that was a UK operation.

I think it tells us that these people (terrorists) are serious. They haven't quit or gone into a lull. They have, and are, devising plans that we never thought of to bring us down. Life has changes because of them. They evidently have a different view of life (and the life hereafter) than most of us do. Maybe it's time to get down and dirty with people such as these. Many are against the war and violence. Maybe we should not just try to make a stalemate and go win the thing. FDR went through war times. What do we think he, or any past leader, would do in this situation? Something is sure...we need to stop this crap.

"do you feel safe?"
Never safer. Everyday is a new day to practice faith. All these worries! Jesus gets me out of that crap. I'm so sick of all this worry. The USA and all the free worlds security in your backyard could not keep you safe. The only safety that is true is in Him.
If a terrorist blows me up tomorrow, I am going where I want to go anyway; to be with my God and King.

No I do not feel safe. England had a similar trouble when they tried to get established in India.
We would need to wage a similar struggle to beat terrorism they ,(the British). won the struggle after about 200 years . (see thugee)
We won't win till we steel ourselves to a long and difficult struggle against terrorism and probably adopt similar tactics.
Nothing is new under the sun that people do.

Safety is an illusion. You are allowing the govt. to take the rights that our forefathers fought and died for in an effort to make you safe. Ben Franklin said "Those who would trade liberty for security deserve neither." I am glad that we caught these people, and would like to see them stand trial for their crimes before I convict them in my mind (which is what our justice system is all about). However they will probably never see trial and will end up wasting away in some "Prisoner of War" camp. We need to lead by example, not by force.

Actually, I think its a shame because if they had succeeded we might have scared enough people to fight. Now we are going to be lulled in a false sense of confidence and we're eventually going to get nuked by the terrorists.

I feel safe knowing that one day someone will have enough of this and stop it with an Alexander the Great like move.

It's scary. Sooner or later these terrorists will strike without being caught. They are relentless.

that isn't the religion. that's the non secular enthusiasts that are the subject. we've them right here as do different countries. There are Christian radicals, as properly as Jewish radicals. each and every considerable faith has their proportion of enthusiasts. they're the subject.
