whoa. My mistake. Entirely my mistake. I meant in the sport of boxing. I got ahead of myself. I thought I typed in boxing, but I didn't.

The fight automatically gets stopped after a fighter has been knocked down three times in the same round. Otherwise, it's a judgement call by the referee. If he feels a fighter is no longer able to defend himself, he stops the fight.
