It is called Rid X and it really works. You need to get the spray and spray where they lay their heads. If they wear caps, spray them also. Spray the beds, anywhere they have touched. Need to wash all clothes, linens, towels. wash cloths all in very hot water and bleach if white and the color bleach if colored. The lice lay eggs and can hatch out and you will end up with them again. They are very hard to get rid of.

well RID is the best chemical way..
IF your like me you prefer not to put that chemical on your childs head... we use olive oil...put on dry scalp ..fully saturate head and put shower cap on.. leave on for a full 8 eight hours.. use lice comb. comb out all you can and wash ... have to wash it a couple of times as the oil is hard to get out.. once done use lice comb to make sure none were missed...this process sufacates the lice...for the stubborn eggs that dont like to come out.. use apple cider vinger with a little dish soap... mix well put on head and comb with lice comb... strips the glue from the eggs.. all of this is non harmful ... no worries about strong chemicals soaking into your childs head..

Hair conditioner put on dry hair to make the hair nice and slippery and then get a fine tooth comb and comb the little blighters out. If this doesn't work go to the chemist and get a recommended product from him or her to kill the little beggars. Only use it as instructed as it is nasty stuff.
