1. Penitensiya (Penitence)- Christian devotees flogging themselves, reliving the pain and suffering of Jesus. Done on Good Friday (Viernes Santo).
2. Semena Santa (Holy Week) - celebrating/remembering the suffering of Jesus, his sacrifices for us.
