It is almost impossible to live with tinnitus but you don't have to. If you are hearing the noises, whether all the time or intermittently, you must seek treatment immediately. But sadly, conventional treatments only treat the symptoms of tinnitus and may provide temporary relief at best.

The only way you could ever get rid of your tinnitus for good is by following the holistic approach to healing. By using a multidimensional treatment for tinnitus, we are tackling all tinnitus causative factors and eliminating these triggering elements from the root. This is the only path for permanent freedom from tinnitus.

When I was younger I couldn't sleep without background clamor of some sort i.e. the TV. Now that I am older I prefer quiet and pure darkness. Preference is not requirement though. Humans are remarkably adaptable. Perhaps you ought to purchase earplugs ;)

i gotta have quiet if i sleep. i cannot have a radio on or anything! This is why i could never work a graveyard shift! With everyone working and driving everywhere and kids playing and making noise and racket and dogs and birds making noise, how could someone working graveyard sleep during the day?? UGH!!!

If you really want to fall to sleep while listening to music try clasical music-I guarantee you'll sleep and peacefully-not puting clasical music down or anything but really, its very calming and relaxing but on a low volume.

Yup. I can't fall asleep with music on either. Or the tv, at least not for very long. Sometimes I fall asleep, but I don't stay asleep...

nothing weird about it. i can't sleep with music or television on, i can't read with music or television on, when i was in school i couldn't study with music or television on...the noise isn't "white noise" because it is logical to the ear and distracts from whatever you're doing as you attempt, even subconsciously, to listen to it.
