1) People do war because they don't see peace as an option... even if it is.
2) Because they aren't your mother/daughter. I'd rather kill someone I don't know.
3) You do not have to do war to gain peace in all cases. Most religions teach peace, but advocate for war at certain circumstances.
4) If politics drove someone crazy they may want to become president to change political views.

If Israel stops fighting now Hezbollah will only continue killing innocent civilians and strengthen their position. It peace were possible by laying down ones weapons they would have done it. Sadly, sometimes peace is only possible by taking up weapons. Some people will not be talked to.

First, you pick and vote for the President, then spend 4 years complaining about what he represents. Then you do it again for another 4 years, and still complain and want answers to War of the Worlds.

Netflix is the answer.
You pick, and someone delivers.

I feel helpless. These wars are being waged
by the politicians who aren't putting their sons and
daughter's lives on the line.

I agree with the first answer. It is all about power.

I hate war.

People fight wars because it is our nature to fight for what we believe is right. There is no such thing as Utopia, and there never will be.

Until we all believe in the same God, form of Government, and Social Ideology their will be Wars.

War is the price we pay for Freedom of will

I believe this whole mess in the middle east is as much about sex as it is about realign. Seems like the extream Muslims don't want their women westernized. They want to keep them covered up at home and beat them like dogs. And there willing to die for this.
